Who We Are

This is Doug. He likes to say he is “semi-retired” but in reality he is a successful small business owner and salesman. He is charming, funny, and the best husband ever. 🙂

That’s me, Elizabeth. I’m a nurse practitioner on sabbatical while we travel the country.

  1. Hi Elizabeth and Doug, It was WONDERFUL to meet you yesterday on the Twin Lakes trail. You were so helpful when Dimitri fell; most warm and caring. Thank you! We went to urgent care and had Dimitri’s scrapes all cleaned and dressed last night. Today he is fine and in no pain! Check out our blog: https://travelingloveaffair.blogspot.com and our photo website: aledm.fototime.com and send us an e-mail. Audre’s: audreengleman@hotmail.com and Dimitri’s: dimitrimoursellas@hotmail.com. We also want to introduce you to the couple who is kind of doing what you are doing, Heather and Kent (although they are “older” 42 and 50!) See their blog: Unexcused Absences: https://unexcusedabsences.com/
And thank you again and again, Audre & Dimitri P.S. After you spend the holidays in the midwest, on your way back west, please stop in Vail to see us!

  6. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am anxious to follow your blog! Thanks for sharing! Be safe! Only talk to the weird strangers and don’t forget to drink a PBR w/ a lime (just to keep the toxins out). Best of luck…and maybe… I will run into you guys somewhere out there in the space called America. Cheers!

  7. Fascinated to follow your adventures! We are a youngish (late 30’s/40) childless couple save for our 2 fur kids also and am obsessing over the idea of going full time one day. Best of luck to you, can’t wait to see/read about it!
